Peter Smart - Careers consultant

The main areas that were focused upon were:

>>Typical employers and where to find jobs
>>What resources are available
>>Creative job search
>>Your CV

This was a good reminder to know all the different areas of Multimedia out there. Computer games design, advertising graphics, new media and animation were ones I thought were most relevant to me. However, it turns out I can offer a range of skills - I don't just have to be a web designer or an animator for instance as no one has 100% in every aspect of Multimedia.
*Don't underestimate the level of skill required!!!!*

Looking at how to build my CV professionally was extremely useful - there were a lot of do's and don'ts that I have previously made. Such as writing a cover letter to tailor that employer or the individual company.
